Central Heating System PowerFlushing

Over time your central heating system water accumulates harmful dirt and debris form corrosion and bacteria in the system. This is often referred to as magnetite sludge. This can cause considerable problems with the efficient operation of your heating system and increased component wear. By powerflushing the system we can help to tackle this debris.

WAYS OF POWER FLUSHING

STAND ALONE INSTALLATION:
It is possible to have a power flush done in isolation without changing any parts. This is a longer process as the system needs draining down and recommissioning as part of the power flushing process in isolation as opposed to being done as part of a larger installation such as a boiler replacement.

AT POINT OF BOILER INSTALLATION:
When power flushing as part of a larger job such as a boiler installation the process is far quicker so therefore less costly as draining down and recommissioning is done as part of the installation process.

SYSTEM FILTERS:
These are recommended by all boiler manufacturers and serve to extend the life of the boiler and in some cases increases the warranty. Many customers choose to install a system filter to provide ongoing protection for their system. Post a power flush the system naturally starts to build up residue again. Rather than paying for costly flushes again and again it is better to protect the system with a system filter. This catches residue and can be cleaned as part as the annual service. This will maintain optimum performance and longevity of the heating system. It will also help to reduce system noise and increase system efficiency.
